Privacy notice

Who is responsible for your information

The registered legal entity behind SIDES is being confirmed and will be named here before this notice is relied upon. In the meantime, every enquiry sent through this site is handled by the SIDES team at pr@metafoodiesgroup.com, and any request to see or delete your information should go to that address.

What this covers

This notice covers sides.studio and the enquiry form on it. SIDES is a creative agency working across MENA, the UK and Europe. Because we work with clients in the UK and the EU, we apply UK GDPR and EU GDPR standards to everyone who contacts us, wherever they are.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, your company name if you give one, the type of work you are asking about, and your message. We do not ask for anything else, and we do not buy or enrich your details from anywhere.

Our analytics also records anonymous usage — which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and whether an enquiry was sent. It does not identify you.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only reason. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us about work.

We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your enquiry to sell you anything unrelated.

Where it goes

Submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, and emailed to pr@metafoodiesgroup.com. That address is a Metafoodies Group mailbox — SIDES sits inside Metafoodies Group commercially, and our enquiries are handled there.

Netlify stores form submissions on servers in the United States under their own data-processing terms. No one outside SIDES and Metafoodies Group is given your details.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months so that we have a record of conversations that may turn into projects, then deleted. If a project starts, the details move into that project record instead and are kept for as long as the engagement and its legal record-keeping require.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are in the UK or the EU and you are not happy with how we handled a request, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and whether enquiries come through. It sets two cookies in your browser, which is how it recognises a returning visitor rather than counting you twice.

If you are visiting from the UK or the European Economic Area, we ask before any of it loads: you will see a bar at the bottom of the page with Accept and Decline. Choose Decline and no analytics cookie is set and no analytics data is collected — the site works exactly the same. Elsewhere, analytics runs without asking, which is permitted in those jurisdictions.

Wherever you are, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we honour it and load nothing.

You can change your mind at any time, from anywhere, using the "Cookie choice" link in the footer — it will ask you again.

Those analytics cookies are the only cookies this site sets. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
